I really do not understand all the bad reviews. I have been ordering from Free People for years and yes as with any other online items I have sent items back. The process is so easy and I've been refunded right away. Customer Service is excellent and I have never had any delivery issues. I love Free People and will continue to shop online and in store.

I love Freepeople, their shirts and dresses have been fantastic, I’ve also sent a few pieces back. The last We The Free button down, denim shirt which I ordered in X Small, I’m a size 12-14 this shirt is RIDICULOUSLY ENORMOUS,
Their web site is terrible, you can’t leave a review, message or chat!

I would leave 0 stars if I could. This company robbed me, refused to post an item which was fully paid for then refused to refund. Clothes are expensive but cheaply made and bad quality.
Great marketing, great pictures and models but the ethos of the brand does match up with the fact they are complete crooks. My address has now apparently been band from all online affiliated brands, which are Urban outfitters & anthropology.
They took my money and never posted my item then blacklisted my address.
Based in American where clearly the purchasing laws and customer protection is different from the UK. Beware, bad bad company.

I have frequently purchased from Free People over the years. Sometimes the quality is good - sometimes it is terrible. However, I have never run into a situation like the one that recently occurred. My account was frozen because the company cannot figure out where some items I returned went. I called this number attached to some processing company called DPO and waited 47 minutes on hold to speak with a customer service representative who asked me if I returned the items. I said I did and that I have the date I returned them because the exact amount was credited to my AMEX. Perhaps that wasn’t the answer she wanted to hear because she said the company would have to “rectify” the account and would be in touch in 48 hours. It’s now been about four days and still no contact. I called the Free People customer service line and told them my problem and asked them to elevate it. Still no response. This may be a good thing, because I may simply never buy from them again.

I've been trying to find jeans advertised in September Vogue; they are nowhere to be found! After reading all the horrible reviews of Free People I guess I'm lucky I never found them. BTW, I did order 2 pair of jeans from Lee. They arrived quickly, fit great and were
an incredible price.

I ordered a set in JUNE, I only got one piece in the wrong color. No return label. I have to pay 120Euro out of pocket to get their error back to the states. I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY MONEY BACK it is now SEPTEMBER. I email every day. I have called. I have contacted Customer Service and get a canned response. I want my money back and will NEVER EVER USE FREE PEOPLE OR URBN products ever again

Absolute joke of a company. I ordered 3 items that all arrived faulty. Trying to communicate with customer services to resolve the issue was excruciating, I have never been spoken to with such disregard.
Don't be fooled by the marketing and social media free people is a glorified fast fashion chain with no regard for good standards of products and service. I have spent the last month trying to get a refund on these items and still have no luck.
AVOID

Ordered a maxi dress to be told three weeks later that my order was cancelled. No refund has been sent. The customer service is awful.

I really thought the brand offered a higher service due to the pricing of their clothes but sorely mistaken.

I just ordered a pair of boyfriend jeans from Free People. The package arrived in about 5 days by UPS. I love these jeans. I used their sizing chart and it was right on the money. I encourage you to give them a try is you have not done so already. My jeans were well constructed. I checked every seam.

I ordered some stuff from Asos and after a while I can say for sure the Quality is really bad and the prices are not justifyed at all. The Straps of the lacebra I ordered a while ago, become worn out quickly and won‘t stay on my shoulders. I had to replace them, in order to be still able to wear them.
A multilayered summerdress had to be thrown out because the lace layer started to fizzle out quiet quickly und became unwearable due to the white plastic/nylon threads hanging out all over the dress. It wasn‘t savable at all. It‘s a pity that similiar fast fashion stuff I bought ages ago for only a fraction of the price are still going strong. Wouldn‘t recommend buying from freepeople at all if you want to enjoy your clothes for more then one summer. Not sustainable at all.
